Welcome to my blog

This blog is “work in progress” and several things may change over time. The intention is to have a place to share some thoughts on topics which I was interested in over the years.

One of those topics was and still is the original bitcoin design as described in the bitcoin whitepaper by Satoshi Nakamoto.
That means “Big Block Bitcoin”.

Since I am from germany, some articles and blogposts are available in german language as well.

Content consumption 101

All human beings are fallible.
I am a human being and therefore I am fallible.

In other words: I am just as smart or stupid as anybody else.
I may not lie intentionally, but my human brain with all its different control instances including the ego, is doing all kinds of tricks on itself.
I am subjective, biased, prone to mistakes and have blind spots.
So whatever you read on this blog, take it with a grain of salt and do your own research.
Do not trust me! And whenever you find flaws, mistakes or errors, please send me an e-mail.
My contact information is available under “about”.

Additionally I am a big fan of open discussions and free speech in general.
I see no longterm benefit in concealing or suppressing certain point of views, theories or opinions, just because some people may dislike it or “feel offended”.
And since many general accepted theories have once started out as suppressed minorities we should eventually be a little bit more concerned about minorities “being suppressed” than about people “feeling offended”.
I feel 10000 feelings each day, but I do not act upon on all of them.
It is called “self-control”.
Additionally those “general accepted theories”, which started as “suppressed minorities” may be challenged by another “supressed minority” all over again.
You never really know when you are right!
That all being said: I do not believe in moral relativism and do think that for human interactions the concept of right and wrong exists.
We have free will and can decide which path we want to take.
Treat others as you want to be treated yourself - with the exclusion of masochists.
